174MM Mini Guide Camera Is Ideal For Longer Focal Length Telescope With Off Axis Guider (OAG). Long Focal Length Telescope Will Require Longer Focal Length Guide Optics

Long Focal Length Guidescope Is Usually Big And Heavy Which Require Higher Payload Mount. Off Axis Guider Eliminate Need For Guidescope By Using Main Telescope As Long Focal Length Guidescope. With Larger Sensor Of 174mm It Allow Wider Field Of View For Faster Guiding Star Aquisition

Please Note 174mm Requires Big Prism OAG Due To Large Sensor (11.3mmx7.1mm) Ensure OAG Prism Can Cover Most Of Sensor Size. Recommended OAG Include ZWO OAG-L And Touptek OAG-X

Difference Of Mini VS Normal 174MM Primary On Weight And Also OAG Compatiblity. Normal 174mm Will Not Able To Focus On OAG With Helical Focuser Like ZWO OAG-L Or Touptek OAG. ZWO OAG Prism Is Small Thus Not Effective Due To Insufficient Imaging Area

Please Note That Mini Guide Camera While Can Do Imaging But Not Optimize For Planetary, Lunar Or Solar Due to USB 2.0 Data Limit. DSO Is Possible But If Telescope Need Back Focus Optimization It Will Require Some Adjusment
